The chromosome karyotype of the target plant was analyzed by FISH and continuous GISH. FISH uses Oligo-pSc119.2 (green) and Oligo-pTa535 (red) as probes. SY159 genomic DNA was mixed with CS and used as a probe for sequence GISH. The red arrow indicates the alien chromosome introduced from SY159. The white arrow indicates chromosome 1 A.
