Pairwise Ka/Ks ratios for sharednon-redundant genes from Amomum and Alpinia, genes with ≥1 substitutions and significant different Ka and Ks values, examined by Fisher Exact Test by KaKs calculator were plotted. Genes like ndhJ only have 3 Ka/Ks values indicating most of them among different species are too conserved to calculate out the Ka/Ks values
