A total of 114 protein sequences were subjected to multiple sequence alignment in ClustalW prior to constructing a phylogenetic tree using the Neighbor-Joining method in MEGA 6.06. Different groups are labeled by different colors. The aligned NRT2 proteins originating from A.thaliana, B.napus and O.sativa are marked by triangles, circles and squares, respectively
