Complementation of a yeast zwf1-deletion strain by plant GapN. Serial drop dilution assays of the yeast strain HOD269-1C carrying the vector without insertion (pJJH2064), the plasmid with the yeast endogenous ZWF1 gene under the control of the constitutive PFK2 promoter (pJJH2111), or the plasmid with the GapN-encoding sequence under the control of the PFK2 promoter (pJJH2118) were performed. Cells were adjusted to an OD600 of 0.1 as described in Materials & Methods. Serial dilutions were dropped onto SCura plates containing the indicated concentrations of hydrogen peroxide. Images were taken after incubation for 3 days at 30 °C
