Differential tissue-specific expression of OsLPRs. Tissues were collected at seedling (14-d-old) and flowering (60-d-old) stages. At seedling stage, leaf blades were named as 1st to 4th from top to base. Root zones I and II represented 1 cm and >1 cm from root tip, respectively. Sheath related to each blade were numbered 2nd to 5th with 1st leaf blade being wrapped in 2nd leaf. During flowing stage, 3rd blade from top to base represented lower blade. qRT-PCR was used for determining the relative expression levels of OsLPRs. Actin (OsRac1; accession no. AB047313) was used as an internal control. Values are means ± SE (n = 3) and different letters indicate that the values differ significantly (P < 0.05)
