Catalytic activity of CYP79A61. Yeast microsomes containing the heterologously-expressed enzyme a or an empty vector control b were prepared and incubated with the potential substrates L-phenylalanine and L-tryptophan. Products were detected using LC-MS/MS analysis with multiple reaction monitoring in the positive mode.
