A 20.5 kb transposon (Tgmt*) inserted near the center of Intron-1 is shown together with the location of primers (Z37F, IN663R) used to amplify it. The approximate location of a third primer (TGM23R) used with Z37F to amplify a 17 kb portion of Tgmt* is also indicated. The three primers are represented by solid black arrows. The parallel lines at the end of Tgmt*, Intron-1 and promoter's 5'-end indicate size reduction to fit the size scale of the drawing. The CACTA ends and the ATA target size duplication are also shown.
