Possible nucleotide changes in the pathway from the isoenzymes containing Ile at position 441 (SoBADH numbering) to those containing Ala (A) or Cys (B) at this position. The frequency of the observed codons for monocots (M; 30 sequences), and eudicots (E; 82 sequences) is given. Experimentally observed codons and amino acids are underlined.
