Means (±SE) for ovule curvature, ovule area, and percentage of ovule area occupied by the nucellus, integument and germ (meiocyte or embryo sac) for seven taxonomic groups. Measurements were taken at the meiocyte (dyad through early tetrad) and 1-nucleate embryo sac (ES) stages. See Additional file 3 for individual genotype data and Additional file 4 for ANOVA results.
