Interactions between three aphid clones and two isogenic melon lines Védrantais and [Védrantais]R_PI161375. ‘Colonization’ by aphids is a quantitative trait inferred from the number of nymphs and adults seven days after a controlled infestation. Vat-mediated resistance is triggered when plants are resistant to virus after aphid-inoculation with Cucumber mosaic virus, and NOT triggered when plants are susceptible.
