Hierarchical clustering of 127 isolated wheat bacterial endophytes regarding their growth-promoting effects. A cluster heatmap to visualise the saturation of colours indicating the associations among growth parameters (EPH: enhanced plant height, EDRW: enhanced dry root weight, EDAPW: enhanced dry above-part weight) -determined in pots trials- on the columns and the 127 wheat bacterial endophytes on the rows. The colour gradient represents the size of the data value; the closer the colour is to red, the higher is the data value. The data were clustered by Ward’s clustering with the Euclidean distance algorithm for similarity measure. For the analysis, Cluster 3.0 (http://bonsai.hgc.jp/~mdehoon/software/cluster/software.htm) and the Java Treeview software (http://jtreeview.sourceforge.net) were used
