A proposed model describing the regulation mechanism of LcERF056 in response to salt stress. LcERF056 activates the transcription of ROS-related genes such as LcLTP and LcPrx by directly binding to GCC-box or DRE element in the promoter and reducing reactive oxygen species, malondialdehyde (MDA), and relative electrolyte leakage. Therefore, it confers increased tolerance to salt stress in L. corniculatus
