The effect of stubble height and FT stress on the MDA content (a) and CAT activity (b) in seedlings. Rye was cut to 2 cm, 6 cm, 10 cm and no cutting (CK group), and FT stress management after 6d regrowth. The sample was taken once every 2 h, and the corresponding temperature gradient was at 10, 5, 0, − 5, 0, 5 and 10 °C. No freeze-thaw (NFT) samples taken at the same time. The error bars indicate SE [t1 ~ t7 (n = 3); NFT (n = 21)]. Bars not sharing the same letter are significantly different. (P < 0.05)
