Exogenous GA3 and GA4 promote dormancy release and subsequent growth by increasing endogenous bioactive GAs (GA1, GA3, GA4 and GA7) and IAA, decreasing ABA contents, enhancing the contents of soluble glucose and accelerating cell division, promoting the expression levels of known four dormancy release-related genes including PsFT, PsEBB1, PsEBB3, PsCYCD and one dormancy-related gene PsTFL, inhibiting that of PsSVP.
