The ZmSnRK2.10 kinase activity is activated by ABA. Mazie leaf protoplasts were transiently transformed with empty vector or the constructs expressing the indicated SnRK2s. The SnRK2 proteins were immunoprecipitated by using anti-Flag antibody (lower panel) and the kinase activity of SnRK2s was analyzed by in vitro kinase assay using MBP as a substrate (upper panel)
