Hierarchical clustering analysis of 469 differentially abundant chloroplast proteins (DACPs) in D + A versus drought. The content patterns of the proteins were hierarchically clustered based on the ratio as a log2 scale. Each row in the color heat map indicates a single chloroplast protein extracted from ALA (treated with 100 mg L− 1 ALA and distilled water), drought (treated with 0 mg L− 1 ALA without distilled water), and D + A (treated with 100 mg L− 1 ALA without distilled water). The sample from plants treated with distilled water was used as a reference control. The red-colored clusters represent upregulated proteins, and the green-colored clusters represent downregulated proteins
