Identified proteins and their suggested function during peanut peg development. The specific splicing isoforms at S1 and S2 stages are related to gravity stimulation and cell wall. Abiotic stress (cold, salt) is involved with specific isoforms at S2 stage. The S3 stage mainly involves embryo development and root formation. The specific isoforms in S4 pegs participate in root hair cells enlargement, ovule development, root apex division, and seed germination. Light and mechanical stimulus, and hormone response factors involve the specific isoforms at all four stages in peanut pegs
