Inhibitory effects of volatiles released from sliced leaves (a and c) and the ground-leaves (b and d) of the six Chinese chive cultivars on colony growth of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense race 4 (FOC). The six cultivars are Duokang Fujiu 11 (DKF), Fujiubao (FJB), Fujiuhuang 2 (FJH), Duokang Sijiqing (DKS), Futaijiu 1 (FTJ), and Zigenchun Zaohong (ZZH). The concentration of volatiles was 0.6 g FW in the four-room petri dish (90 mm in diameter). Data are means ± SE (n = 12). Significant differences among treatments were indicated by different letters above the bars (P = 0.01 by Duncan’s multiple range test)
