Proteins can be expected to be present in water/methanol fraction (soluble ones) and in the starch/cellulose fraction (non-soluble ones). The results are shown as the mean ± standard deviation from three biological replicates. Asterisks indicate significant differences as compared to control according to Fisher’s test with a significance threshold of P ≤ 0.05
