The paired-end reads are assigned onto the whole vector construct generated from the pCGN157 in the BC2–19 with the T-DNA integrated region, while the paired-end read sequences were only assigned around the CiFT cDNA insertion region, on the vector constructs in BC2–5 and BC3–8. The genomic sequence of CiFT showed that intron 2 had a longer length, compared with exons 2 and 3, and this structure would hamper the sequence assignment around the CiFT cDNA insertion regions of exons 2 and 3, in the vector construct of the null segregates
