The maximal photochemical efficiency of PSII (Fv/Fm) in Glycine max (circles) and Glycine soja (triangles) exposed to 300 mM NaCl in the absence (closed symbols) or presence (open symbols) of chloramphenicol. For reagent treatment, leaves of Glycine max and Glycine soja were immersed in 0 or 1 mM chloramphenicol for 3 h in the dark before salt stress. Data in the figure indicate the mean of five replicates (±SD). Different letters indicate significant difference among GS, GM, GS + chloramphenicol and GM + chloramphenicol at P < 0.05
