Phenotype and physiological changes of four rootstocks under normal (CK) and Cu toxicity. Four common citrus rootstocks, trifoliate orange (TO), ‘Ziyang Xiangcheng’ (XC), red tangerine (RT), and ‘Shatian’ pummelo (ST), were grown under normal and excess of Cu (187.5 μM, 125×) conditions. After 25 d of treatment, representative pictures were photographed. Plant height increase rate and malonaldehyde (MDA) content were determined at 40 d, while chlorophyll a (chla) and b (chlb) contents were measured at 0 d, 25 d, and 40 d. Data are means ± SE (n = 3). Different letters indicate significant differences at P < 0.05 by Tukey test
