Pictorial depiction of miRNA interference approach involves processing of precursor anti-miRNA within the host genome in a similar manner as of the native miRNA. In this regard, the passenger strand of miRNA which now, is the guide strand of anti-miRNA remain functional thus, binding to the guide strand of miRNA thus making it unavailable to the RISC complex and hence resulting in knock-down of target miRNA
