OsRH58 affects the levels of chloroplast proteins under salt or dehydration stress. Total proteins were extracted from 2-week-old wild type (WT) and OsRH58-expressing transgenic Arabidopsis plants (OX1, OX2, and OX3) grown on MS medium containing 300 mM mannitol or 150 mM NaCl. Twenty to thirty micrograms of total proteins were separated on SDS-12% PAGE, and the proteins were detected with the antibody raised against each protein.
