Identification of a frameshift mutation in CYP749A16 (Gh_D10G1401). Polymorphisms that are specific to the trifloxysulfuron sodium (TFS) herbicide sensitive parent, Gossypium hirsutum cv Paymaster HS26 were detected in recombinant inbred lines from a MAGIC population by whole genome skim sequencing and are shown in grey, while the reference allele is white. The exon and intron structure of the candidate gene is shown with thick and thin black lines, respectively, and the location of the extra adenine in sensitive plants is labeled
