Amplification curves for FAM- and VIC-labelled UPs with different tails. Amplifluor-like SNP markers were developed and used with ‘standard’ tails 1 and 2 for homozygous (a) and heterozygous (b) genotypes. Two UPs with shorter tails (tails 3 and 4) were used for SNP analysis of the same homozygous (c) and heterozygous (d) genotypes.
