Hormonometer analysis of differential gene expression in rice in response to Chilo suppressalis feeding. The response in gene expression in rice to Chilo suppressalis feeding (for 0, 24, 48, or 72 h) treatments was compared with that of Arabidopsis at 30, 60, and 180 min, or 3, 6, and 9 h after hormone application. Red shading indicates a positive correlation between the rice response to a C. suppressalis treatment and the Arabidopsis response to a hormone treatment; blue shading indicates a negative correlation.
