Changes in transcript abundance of 12 up- and down-regulated ROS/NO-related genes during 48 h treatment with PHC, as analyzed by qRT-PCR. These include 4 ROS-generating genes (VvRBOHE, VvRBOHA, VvPOD72, VvPOD12) (a), and 7 ROS-scavenging genes (VvDOX1, VvGPX2, VvCAT1, VvAPX3, VvFSD3, VvFSD, VvAOX2) and one NO-scavenging gene (VvHB2) (b). The selection of these genes was based on their relative expression levels obtained by the microarray analysis (Table 3)
