Mean relative transcript level of BrmiR157 and its potential target BrSPL genes in seedlings of Tsuda exposed to dark, blue light or UV-A. Relative expression (2−ΔΔCT) of conserved BrmiR157 and predicted Bra004674 (SPL9), Bra003305 (SPL15), Bra010949 (SPL10), Bra038324 (SPL6), Bra027478 (SPL2), Bra030041 (SPL10), Bra033671 (SPL2), Bra022766 (SPL13) were analyzed by real time PCR. The UBQ gene served as the internal control to correct for template quantity; seedlings in the dark control served as the calibrator. Bar indicates ± SE of triplicate assays. Statistically significant differences between blue light treatment and dark, UV-A treatment and dark are shown (t-test, *P < 0.05; ns, not significant difference)
