Phenotypic distribution of Sclerotinia stem rot lesion length in 101 soybean genotypes after inoculation with the cotton pad method. Progression of the lesions was assessed 7 d after inoculation at R1. The soybean lines are separated in three subgroups: 1) previously characterized as resistant [9] (black), 2) previously uncharacterized for resistance to S. sclerotiorum (white), or 3) resistant (R) and susceptible (S) checks (striped).
