Microscopic detection of callose deposition. N. benthamiana (A, B and C) and tomato (D, E and F) infiltrated with the water control, flg22 Lso and flg22 Las , respectively. Potato (G and H) infiltrated with water and flg22 Lso , respectively. Leaves were collected at 24 h post infiltration and then stained with aniline blue. Callose deposition was observed under UV epifluorescence microscope.
