Electron microscopic observation showed obvious structural changes of Golgi apparatus in root cap peripheral cells of the kinesin-13a-1 mutant line. (A) The peripheral cells of the kinesin-13a-1 mutant lines contained a few large vacuoles and few vesicles. (B) The peripheral cells of the wild type root cap contained numerous vesicles. (C), (E) Golgi-associated vesicles were rare and small in the peripheral cells of the kinesin-13a-1 mutant.
