Broad-complex Tramtrack Bric-a-brac/Poxvirus and Zinc finger domain (BOB/POZ) is represented by bold letters and Ankyrin repeat domain (ANK) is underlined. Five Arabidopsis cysteine residues (Cys82, Cys150, Cys156, Cys160 and Cys216) regulating NPR1 functions are marked with rectangular boxes. "*" represents identical residues; ":" means conserved substitutions between similar residues; "." indicates the semi-conserved substitutions between similar residues.
