Induction of the soybean PR-1 ( GmPR1 ) gene by INA. Transcripts levels in three-week old soybean seedlings are shown at various hours following feeding with either 0.5 mM INA or water through the roots. Two young trifoliate leaves per plant were harvested at the indicated time points for RNA isolation. For 0 h treatment, the leaves were harvested just before INA treatments.
