The amino acid signature [D/E]L × 2 [R/K] × 3L × 6L × 3R [28] that is required for interacting with R/B-like BHLH transcription factors is indicated by arrowheads on the top of amino acids. The amino acids within the MYB domain that are crucial for cell-to-cell movement of CPC [29] are indicated by asterisks on the top of amino acids.
