Temperature modulates the leaf membrane fatty acid composition in Arabidopsis. Wild-type Columbia plants were grown at various temperatures and total fatty acids were extracted from fully expanded rosette leaves. Line colors indicate the specific fatty acid as indicated in the legend. c+t indicates the combined amounts of cis and trans isomers of 16:1 fatty acids which co-elute under the gas chromatographic temperature profile used.
