One T2 line transformed with the 35S:GUS construct was tested and five independent T2 lines transformed with 35S:AteIFiso4E. C, Western blot analysis of eIFiso4E protein levels in total proteins extracted from 1-month-old leaves. Actin protein levels were assessed as a loading control.
