  1. ProDH activity was analyzed on protein extracts of uninoculated (control) and Pst-AvrRpm1-inoculated leaves of wild type and p5cdh plants. Infected leaves were evaluated at 6, 10 and 24 hours post-infection (phases I, II and III, respectively). Enzyme activity was expressed in nmol of Pro min-1 mg of total protein-1. Each value is mean ± SD of at least two independent experiments with 20 independent plants.
  2. T4C: L -thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid, inhibitor of ProDH.
