Levels of ABA and its metabolites in leaves of HSI2 altered Arabidopsis plants. Levels were quantified by UPLC-ESI-MS/MS using deuterium-labeled internal standards. Each sample consisted of a pool of 6 plants grown under well-watered (to near field capacity) or drought-stressed (visible wilting) conditions, and 24 h after re-watering to soil saturation following drought stress. Values represent averages of three biological replicates ± standard error of means. No error bars are provided in the Total ABA panel.
