  1. The data of FW, rosette diameter, content of chlorophyll and anthocyanin were acquired from the 3 week old plants treated by submerging the roots of the plants in 200 mM NaCl solution for 3 weeks. The data of rate of chlorosis and germination rates were acquired from plants grown on MS medium containing different concentration NaCl for 2 weeks. Data represent the mean ± SE (n ≥ 15); similar results were obtained from three independent experiments. N: wild-type Col-0 suffered drought stress, and P: non-treatment wild-type Col-0. Significance of the phenotypic results was assessed using Student’s t tests (*P < 0.05, **P < 0.01).
