Phylogenetic analysis for amino acid sequences of selected plant MYB TFs. The sequences of R2 and R3 domains of 40 selected plant MYB TFs were compared with PhyML v.3.0 and the tree was rooted along AtMyb075 using FigTree v.1.3.1. (see Methods). The lengths of interrupted branches are expressed in aLTR values corresponding to the scale. See additional file 1 for amino acid alignment, ID numbers and annotations of individual TFs.
