Genes were selected according to the following criteria: They were differentially expressed in untreated roots and shoots, their expression level was altered ≥ 2.5-fold after 18 h of cytokinin treatment, and their p-values of the organ, cytokinin and/or interaction effects were ≤ 0.03.
