Expression of chloroplast encoded genes in fln seedlings. qRT-PCR analysis of the indicated gene transcript levels was performed in 7-day-old seedlings grown as in Figure 1B. Four classes of genes were examined, PEP-dependent (A), NEP-dependent (B) PEP- and NEP-transcribed (C), and nuclear-encoded (D). Data shown are the mean ± standard error of the mean (SE) of a representative experiment (n = 3). Expression levels are presented as the percentage relative to wild type.
