Conservation of phosphorylation sites between poplar proteins and homologs in other plants. Sequence alignments were conducted to determine conservation of phosphorylation sites among homologs. Gaps were introduced to ensure maximum identity. Fine red boxes represent phosphopeptides identified in this study. Phosphorylation sites identified in our study are shown in red bold font. Previously identified phosphorylation sites in Arabidopsis are indicated blue bold font. Well-conserved phosphorylation sites are shown within blue box in bold.
