Lanes 1-11 & 12-20: candidate H/DH palm plants; lane L: HyperladderI (Bioline, UK); lane 21: heterozygote control; lane 22: homozygote control. Candidates in lanes 1, 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 16, 17, 19, 20 were deemed heterozygous and discarded.
