PIN: β-pinene synthase; 3-CAR: 3-carene synthase; LAS: levopimaradiene/abietadiene synthase; DXPS: 1-deoxyxyulose-5-phosphate synthase. Each gene is normalized to TIF expression. Error bars are the standard error of three biological replicates for all CRD and MeJA treated CZ but was restricted to two biological replicates for untreated CZ due poor template quality for one sample and limited quantity of biological material. Statistical significance represents a Student's T-test comparison of MeJA treated versus untreated samples with (*) p < 0.05, (**) p < 0.01 and (***) p < 0.001.
