Phylogenetic analysis and conserved motifs of TCP family members in Arabidopsis thaliana and Citrullus lanatus. An unrooted phylogenetic tree, showing relationships between all TCP transcription factors in A. thaliana (At) and C. lanatus (Cl), was constructed using MEGA 5.0 with the neighbor-joining method. Support for the topology was assessed by means of a bootstrap analysis with 1000 replicates. Class I is highlighted in blue, and Class II is highlighted in yellow. On the right is the protein structure constructed using DOG 2.0 indicating conserved motifs: TCP domain (green) (http://pfam.xfam.org), R domain (red) (PlntTFDB database).
