Comparison of expression of MdANT1 and MdANT2 during fruit development in ‘Gala’ and ‘Golden Delicious Smoothie’ (GS). Closed circles represent ‘Gala’ and open circles represent GS. Data presented here are from Figures 3 and 5 (thinned fruit only). Cumulative growing degree days after full bloom (GDD) were used to allow for comparison of the two genotypes. Fold-change in the expression of a gene relative to its expression at full bloom (0 DAFB) in ‘Gala’ is presented. Error bar represents the standard error of mean of four biological replicates (n = 4). The reference genes MdACTIN and MdGAPDH were used in this study. Insets display the expression of the genes during early fruit development.
